The food was delicious but the service was not good enough to recommend to friends or family. The only place where I have seen the wait staff wearing athletic booty shorts. Finally after payment was run on the card the receipt asked if we wanted to add an additional tip and my wife’s response in the tip section was “already charged”. My wife asked the waitress why there was an 18% gratuity automatically added and her response was “it’s just policy” giggling like a joke was just told. Asked if they did a military discount and was told they didn’t. When it came time to pay our bill we noticed that they automatically added an 18% gratuity, which I had never heard of for a party of only TWO people. We asked for condiments and a couple boxes for all the extra food and it took over 10 minutes to receive what we asked for. The Oyster PO boy was delicious and my wife got the fried seafood combo which was also delicious and more than enough for leftovers. We told the waitress that we needed a few moments to look over menu, we waited for another 10-15 minutes while the waitress ignored us and put all of her attention to other co-workers lounging at the front bar like they were the only ones in the restaurant. They charge $2.50 for “fresh brewed sweet tea” even though it tasted like it was powdered tea and you don’t get any refills. We were told to sit anywhere, luckily we sat in the front because if we would have sat anywhere else we probably wouldn’t have been noticed. My wife and I came for an early dinner on a Wednesday evening, we have driven by many times and decided to try. ![]()
